417 Chapter 67: The Key Concepts: This chapter discusses the five energies of the heaven and the earth and the five elements which spread out the orders of administration in the five directions, transforming and generating five viscera and five bodies, all of which are governed by the five elements circulation. The Yellow Emperor sat in the administration hall, beginning to make corrections on the outlines of astronomy and inspect the geography of the eight most remote regions, examine and figure out the regular patterns of the five elements circulation. The Yellow Emperor invited the heaven teacher to come and asked him: Some treatises relate that the movement a[ nd ] quietude are outlined by the divine brightness (the sun and the moon) and that the upward and downward movements of Yin and Yang are expressed [ by ]cold and summer heat. I have heard about the number of the five elements circulation from you to the effect that the five circulating energies are in charge of different years with Chia as the beginning. I have discussed it with Kwei - Yee - Chu who said:
