Let
the healing power of Acupuncture help you succeed in life without sacrificing
your health.Historically Acupuncture has had phases where the emphasis
has been on unproductive resentful minds stuck in the Past, while at
other times, as now, fearful minds are speeding towards the future.
Such a futuristic mind ignores personal responsibility for health and
accepts illness, suffering and environmental destruction as the inevitable
price of progress But the heart of Acupuncture devotes itself neither
to resentment nor fear but pays deep attention to each moment.

1. How much does it cost?
The
financial cost is £50 for the first visit &
£20 per hour for any subsequent visits . But you must realise
that the real cost lies not in charges for treatment but in remaining
ill , dying on average ten years earlier than you should and taking
time off work.

2.
Does it treat serious diseases?
Not
only does it treat serious disease, but it treats the disease before
it becomes serious. Do not make the mistake of underestimating the healing
potential of Acupuncture. Often a Western Doctor is ready to give up
treatment when Acupuncture can provide a seemingly miraculous cure.
For instance, cancer starts off as no more, in Chinese medicine, than
dampness & cold. Tumors begin as sinusitis. All serious illnesses
and diseases such as these can be resolved at an early stage with the
greatest of ease. There are gaps in Western medicine, for instance in
the field of dealing with the nervous system. So, why leave the natural
path of Chinese medicine for the alternative potential minefield called
Western medicine - Land of the Barium Enema & the Colonoscopy!

3. Can I be treated in my own
home?
For
those who are physically unable to come to the clinic home
treatments are available with traveling expenses.
|
|
4 . Am I too old?
5 . Can children be treated?
Not
only people in the prime of life but also old
people & especially babies in the womb before they are
born can be treated without needles with
Acupuncture and their constitution strengthened. |
|
6. Is acupuncture painful ?
In
prehistoric times needles were of stone and the modern hypodermic needle
is rather like a chisel. By comparison an Acupuncture needle is fine
subtle and often <although not always> relatively pain
free. Mind does not move so if the point is located accurately&
the practitioner's mind does not move but merely disappears and reappears
where it should there is yogic ahimsa no mind violence & so therefore
no pain.

7 . What does the 60-Year cycle
and the 8 phases of the moon have to do with acupuncture?
The 60-year
Cycle dates from the Han Dynasty(202BC-AD220). In
practical terms the 60-year cycle has the great value in being larger
in scale than other systems which some Acupuncturists practice in isolation.
The 60-year cycle allows us to use not only the birth energy of the patient
and the pre-birth energies of the parents and grandparents,
but also the vulnerability factor inherent in the time when the symptoms
begin. The moon phases reflect the eight focal points of energy in the
body, and thus predict the best time for treatment, and warn the patient
in advance when they are going to fall ill. |
|
8. Are the needles sterile?
Public concern
about the AIDS virus has led some practitioners to use disposable needles,
but these are necessarily of inferior quality and some acupuncturists
would prefer to work with better quality needles. Sterilization procedures
are more than adequate to deal with the AIDS virus; they were in fact
created to eliminate the more resilient Hepatitis B virus. Before undergoing
any acupuncture treatment it is essential to ask the practitioner about
his or her sterilization procedures. Some practitioners will have a sterilizer
(called an autoclave) in the clinic, others may use hospital sterilization
services. Many practitioners will use disposable needles if the patient
is unduly worried, do not be afraid to ask for disposable needles , if
you prefer them. |
|
9. Does it treat the symptoms?
The emphasis
is on complete as against partial cure. In
the clinic as much as one hour is used to pinpoint the
precise pathology and course of the disease . By both use of a 60-year
cycle dating from 202 BC - 220 AD, and by applying the hexagrams of theI
Ching, a medical history emerges which precisely shows how
and at which points excessive emotions and thoughts have weakened
organs and meridians, thus allowing centripetal or Centrifugal
disturbance by the Five Perverse Evils. If symptoms remain after this
holistic approach they can be dealt with at the end like bilge water from
a boat that has had a hole in the hull repaired. |

10. Is Disease The Inevitable
Price Of Progress? Let
the healing power of Acupuncture help you succeed in life without sacrificing
your health. Preventative as well as curative, holistic and ancient, acupuncture
cures a wide range of illnesses. Why let your illnesss 'drag-on'? The History
of Acupuncture has had phases where the emphasis has been on unproductive
resentful minds stuck in the Past, while at other times, as now, fearful
minds are speeding towards the future. Such a futuristic mind ignores
personal responsibility for health and accepts illness, suffering and environmental
destruction as the inevitable price of progress But the heart of Acupuncture
devotes itself neither to resentment nor fear but pays deep attention
to each moment. The I Ching shows us that we can either move towards ego
and conflict or towards Unity of Mind & Body, the choice is entirely ours.
